My Spiritual, Artistic, and Hiking Journey!

HomeA Bit About Me!Mar 24, 2007

Jacqueline (standing left), teaching carving tips.

I live in Georgia with my beautiful three sons who are my heart and who never cease to amaze and delight me. My oldest son, Josiah, is 19 yrs old, and loves to draw with a passion!! My younger sons are 17 year old twins, Justin and Dustin, who are very enthusiastic about art. We all love to sing. I am a stay-at-home mom and I homeschool my young men. In 2005, I began working where the need is great, American Sign Language. To support my family and the ministry work, I teach and sell my artwork. My specialties are collage, carving/printmaking, and mixed media arts. For relaxation, I sing and play the piano. I have piano students whom I have taught that won scholarships and were published in the National Guild of Piano Teachers Magazine. My method of teaching is Suzuki. Art has been a part of my life since earliest memories. I cannot imagine a day passing without making something creative. I had wonderful teachers! Much of my training came from my loving mom, and my Heavenly Father in observation of his wondrous creation. I have dabbled in several different media, but the piano and paper arts are what have held my attention for the last few years. I enjoy the complexities of design when working with the many different papers and the abundance of tools I can embellish the paper with. I have been involved with stamping and paper arts since August of ‘98. My introduction to this art was through a stamping instructional pamphlet and a July/August ‘98 issue of The Rubber Stamper magazine from a local craft store. Little did I know that I would one day be published in that magazine!!!!!!! *July/August and September/October 2007* Feel free to visit my blog and get to know a little more about what I do. I enjoy having you stop by.

Warmly,
Jacqui
